Kenya Fly in Safari to Lewa Conservancy, Samburu Game Reserve & Masai Mara North

A Kenya fly-in safari with Natural Earth Tours & safari ltd is a thrilling and magical experience. Fly on a light aircraft between locations to reduce your travelling time, allowing you to spend longer unwinding in luxury camps and lodges.

Spotting amazing wildlife is experienced from 4×4 vehicles with expert guides or a tracker at Lewa Conservancy with your accommodation at the superb Sirikoi Luxury Lodge in luxury tented room for 3 nights stay; Next, you will go on further to explore wild rhinos on their natural settings at Samburu Game Reserve with your Luxury accommodation at Sasaab Lodge for 2 nights stay. Finally, you will accomplish your special tours with the amazing game viewing on the endless plains of the Great Masai Mara Game reserve with accommodation at the exclusive Ngare Serian Luxury Tented Camp for 3 nights stay.

Itinerary Day Description

Day 1: Arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport – Lewa Conservancy

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 06:30am, you will be welcomed by I, Kyoso Kangwe and our representative, and we will both assist you to transfer to the domestic Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Lewa Downs Airstrip (baggage allowance is strictly 15kgs per person).

Lewa Downs airstrip is a 50 minute flight from Nairobi Wilson airport, which is served by a scheduled flight with either Air Kenya or Safarilink. All this will be arranged for you by our reservations office.

Sirikoi Luxury Lodge is just a 15 minute drive from Lewa Downs airstrip. On arrival, you will be met by the Lodge guide who will transfer you on a vehicle to Sirikoi Luxury Lodge in time for lunch at this luxury lodge.

Afternoon game activities;

A spectacular game lodge situated on its own private estate in the centre of the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy on the northern slopes of Mount Kenya. Surrounded by an acacia grove and overlooking a natural waterhole fed from a mountain spring Sirikoi offers some of the best game viewing in East Africa.

Evening sundowners with incredible views of distant mountain ranges; delicious meals served under the stars next to a roaring fire and the sounds of animals in camp late at night are just a small part of this magical experience. Day 2: Full day at Lewa Conservancy – Sirikoi Luxury Lodge

Full day game activities.
Fantastic views of distant mountain ranges and a beautiful backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kenya provide a perfect setting for game drives and bush walks. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

has an incredible variety of wildlife with over 70 different species of mammal. There are roughly equal numbers of black and white rhino – the latest count numbers 106. The world’s largest concentration of the endangered Grevy zebra resides on Lewa as well as elephant, buffalo, greater kudu, oryx, lion, leopard and cheetah amongst others. The Conservancy is teeming with birdlife with over 350 species across the diverse topography which includes rolling open plains, hills and kopjes, thick forest, valleys, escarpments, wetlands and rivers.

Day 3: Another day in the life of Lewa Conservancy

After your leisurely breakfast, you will choose to either indulge into activities that are found at this fabulous place or just lay back and relax at your lodge.

You may need to experience some of the activities and services found here like;

* Helicopter Excursions (at extra cost)

* Fishing excursions (at extra cost)

* Horse Riding fee (at extra cost)

And finally cultural visit can be arranged.

Retire your day for the 3^rd dinner and overnight at your exclusive Sirikoi Luxury Lodge in your Luxury Tented room (All meals include plus assorted drinks).

Day 4: Depart Lewa Conservancy to Sasaab in Samburu Game Reserve.

After your breakfast from Sirikoi Luxury Lodge, it will be time to drive to Lewa Downs airstrip for your flight to Sasaab in Samburu Game Reserve, landing at Samburu airstrip. On arrival you will be met by the lodge guide and transferred to your Lodge.

Located in northern Kenya, Samburu Game Reserve has a wild beauty of its own. The descent from the lush slopes of Mount Kenya, into the semi-desert of Kenya “NFD” – the Northern Frontier District, is breathtaking. Sasaab is on Samburu community land, on the Ngutuk Ongiron Group Ranch, known as the West Gate Conservancy. Majestically situated on the high banks of the Uaso Nyiro River (Kenya’s third largest watercourse), and offers a truly exceptional safari experience in an area renowned for its variant species.

The main area sits on a high rocky ridge allowing one to enjoy the spectacular views through the Moroccan interior and courtyard. The swimming pool is perched on the hill side overlooking the river. Massage & beauty treatments are offered from the privacy of your tent. Sasaab offers a true wilderness experience with excursions into the famous Samburu Game Reserve known for its large herds of Elephant and the endangered Grevy Zebra.

Accommodation is nine Moroccan tents, each over 100 meters squared comprising of a bedroom, sitting room and fully serviced bathrooms. 5 tents have double beds, 4 tents have twin beds. Electricity is solar powered, offering outlets for charging equipment in each tent. All tents have wireless internet connection, cooling fans and a private plunge pool. Strong emphasis is placed on the highest quality and freshest products and the dishes are of a Moroccan influence. You will go for the afternoon game activities.

Day 5: full day Game activities in Samburu Game Reserve
after your opulent breakfast; you will go on full day spent participating in activities offered by the lodge. Lunch at the lodge, the safari experience in Samburu land is vastly different to that found in any other part of Kenya.

The Samburu Special Five (Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Gerenuk and Beisa Oryx) are found in the area, whilst a strong cultural aspect complements the wildlife watching.

The Samburu people are fiercely proud of their cultural tradition, and delight in sharing their customs with guests, making interaction with locals a major highlight in any visit to Sasaab. Activities include game drives and night game drives, Game walks along the river or in the dry country, Day trips to Samburu Reserve, Mountain biking, Camel Riding, Samburu cultural visits and Beauty therapy.

2^nd Dinner and overnight at Sasaab Lodge in your Luxury Villas (all meals included plus assorted drinks)

Day 6: Depart Sasaab in Samburu Reserve – Masai Mara North
Early morning after your breakfast at Sasaab Lodge, you will depart to Samburu airstrip for you scheduled flight to the famous Masai Mara Reserve North, landing at Mara North Airstrip.

On arrival, you will be met by the camp guide and transferred to your Ngare Serian Luxury Tented Camp for lunch. It is only 7km drive away from the Mara North airstrip to the camp.

Later on after lunch, you will go for the afternoon game drive.

Day 7: full day game drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve
Early morning game drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve, afterwards you will return to the camp for breakfast. Later on you will continue with your full day game activities.
While you are relaxing inside the camp, you can take in endless, game-filled plains with the dramatic river escarpment as a backdrop. The incredible effort, the surprise, the spectacular settings, visual impact and fairytale-like atmosphere of dining under the stars are an unforgettable African bush experience.

There are a number of exciting activities as optional extras, like viewing game from the silence of a hot-air balloon, one of the finest wildlife experiences. Not only does this give you a unique perspective of the Mara grasslands, but it also enables you to spot far more game than is possible from the ground, this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Each day offers new adventures, starting with the unexpected delight of an early morning bush breakfast, followed by hours of superb game and bird-watching, there are daily lectures by a Maasai naturalist.

You may also visit a Maasai cultural village and watch traditional Maasai dancing or you can wind down another action-packed African day with sundowners at a location featuring spectacular views across the Mara. From this unique vantage point, the entire Masai Mara reserve is visible on a clear day. You will retire your day for the
2^nd Dinner and overnight at Ngare Serian Luxury Tented Camp (all meals included plus assorted drinks)

Day 8: Another day in the life of Masai Mara Reserve North

Early start today;  for an early morning game drive to see also nocturnal  predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light. You can take breakfast boxes with you and have a bush breakfast when the sun is up. Return to your lodge for a relaxed hot lunch at Ngare Serian Luxury Tented Camp.

Alternatively, with packed lunch boxes you will leave the lodge in the morning for entire day game drives in the Masai Mara Game Reserve.

There is an optional hot-air balloon (not included in the package cost) – which will take place in the morning, just as the sun rises. You’ll float in whichever direction the morning winds take you.

Your pilot can precisely control the altitude of your balloon; at times he will ascend to 1000′ or more to see the enormity and wonderful panorama of the Serengeti. After the landing you celebrate with champagne and a full English breakfast prepared and served in the bush in ‘Out of Africa’ style. After breakfast you receive your Masai Mara balloon certificate and drive back to your camp or proceed with your day’s activities and game drives around the Masai Mara Game Reserve.

3^rd Dinner and overnight at Ngare Serian Luxury Tented Camp (all meals included plus assorted drinks)

Day 9: Depart Ngare Serian in Masai Mara North – Nairobi

Optional morning game-drives in Masai Mara then breakfast at the camp. At the appropriate time, you will depart Masai Mara Reserve North to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi.

Upon arrival; I will meet you and transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi where you will connect with your international flight back home. By the time you leave Kenya, you will have an everlasting memory in your life time.
